Privacy

Woodworking Math works without an account, sets no cookies, runs no advertising or tracking script and has no affiliate links. We count visits with Cloudflare's cookie-free analytics (below). The numbers you type stay on your device.

What stays on your device

• Your light or dark theme, in your browser's local storage, so it is there next time.
• Your choice of inch or metric units on the calculators, in the same local storage, for the same reason.
• A copy of the pages you open, kept by the site's service worker so the calculators work with no signal.

None of it is sent to us. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all of it.

What our host sees

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, it receives your IP address and the page you ask for in order to send it, and keeps traffic counts for us.

How we count visits

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they use. Cloudflare adds a small script to each page that reports the page you opened, the site that sent you and how fast the page loaded. It stores nothing in your browser (no cookies, no local storage), discards your IP address at the nearest Cloudflare data center, and doesn't fingerprint you or follow you to other sites. See Cloudflare's description of the script.
