DuraSeal stain colors (Quick Coat)
DuraSeal makes stains and finishes for hardwood floors. Its color card lists Quick Coat’s 36 prepackaged colors in three collections, shown on white oak; colors with two numbers are listed with both, as DuraSeal prints them.
To see the colors, use the maker's own chart: DuraSeal’s Color and Product Card (swatches on white oak). A chip or a screen shows the color on one board under one light, so test it on your own wood first.

DuraSeal says natural wood tones vary, so expect the final color to vary slightly from board to board; the card’s floors are white oak, water-popped and finished with DuraClear Max Flat.

Before you choose
The same color looks different on pine, oak and maple, and every maker says to test it first. Why, and what the makers say about gel, oil and water-based stains: wood stain colors. If the stain goes on blotchy: blotchy stain; if a water-based stain leaves the wood rough: raised grain. Dry and recoat times before the topcoat: wood stain.
